Dr. Anita Tayyebi is a licensed Acupuncture and Eastern Medicine Practitioner in Olympia Washington. Fourteen years ago, her passion for medicine and her desire to be of service to others led her to shift careers from the IT field and pursue acupuncture. It marked a profound turning point in her life, one that continues to be among the most meaningful and gratifying decisions of her life. Dr. Tayyebi feels genuinely blessed each day to do the work she loves. She shows up to her practice with an open heart, deep gratitude, and a profound sense of purpose, acting as a vessel to support the body’s remarkable capacity to heal. ​Dr. Tayyebi takes a holistic, integrative approach to care, addressing health on the physical, emotional, and energetic levels. In addition to acupuncture, she incorporates craniosacral therapy, therapeutic massage techniques, and lifestyle counseling into her treatments to support both immediate relief and long term balance. Her priority is to create a welcoming, supportive environment where patients feel heard and at ease discussing their concerns, an essential foundation for meaningful, lasting healing. She ensures that each patient leaves with practical tools and guidance to support continued healing beyond the treatment room. Outside of her clinical work, Anita enjoys a creative and nature filled life. She loves music and recently began learning the Persian instrument Santour through an online program. Cooking and baking are two of her meditative practices, where she finds joy in creating beautiful cakes and delicious pastries. She also cherishes time outdoors and finds refuge in nature.Nisqually Wildlife Refuge, is one of her favorite local places, which she visits often.  ​Anita is grateful for the many sources of love and joy in her life: she is a devoted “plant mama,” the human mama to her furry boy Mickey (also known as The Duke), and the proud mother of two wonderful adult children. Mickey proudly supervises mama’s treatments, loves his own acupuncture sessions, and celebrates his birthday like a Duke.
