Needles can be left in for anywhere from 5 to 40 minutes.
After your treatment we will talk about the treatment plan for the future, as well as dietary and lifestyle advice.
First office visit is about 90 minutes, follow up visits can range from 60 to 75 minutes.
What does Acupucnture feel like ?

The short answer is that it feels amazing. Acupuncture needles are hair-thin, flexible needles that you will hardly feel when inserted.Once the needles go in, you might feel a variety of sensations. Some people may feel a mild aching,  maybe a little bit of heaviness,  a feeling of distention, or warmth. These should be comfortable sensations that you can relax through.
How Many Treatments are Needed?

Since each person is unique, the number of treatments needed will vary. Many issues (especially simple pain conditions) respond very quickly and are resolved within two to three treatments. For more chronic, internal problems, four or more visits are often needed . Even with chronic, long standing health problems, patients generally feel immediate relief after treatment, but may need several more visits for lasting change.
